Preparation for the Pitch

Our group has started to prepare for our pitches which are next week. Our pitches have to include the following:

• Preliminary research into the genre and type of project chosen.
• Identification of the target audience.
• Storyboard ideas.
• Location ideas with scouting images.
• Casting.
• Mood boards.
• Ancillary tasks for each candidate.
• Production schedule.
• Allocation of roles.

Introduction to advanced portfolio

The brief that we have been given for the advanced portfolio is to work as a team to create a music video or film trailer. Within the task we will also create ancillary tasks that will include a promotional package of a website homepage for the band, a digi pack and/or magazine advert.

In my group of two other people we have decided to create a music video and this is the song we have chosen to use: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPEBN2dVNUY&safe=active. For my ancillary tasks I will be designing a digi pack and a magazine advert for my band.
